Bishop Sam Jacobs
Bishop Jacobs was ordained to the priesthood in 1964, and appointment as Bishop of the Diocese of Alexandria, Louisiana in 1989. He was appointed a Bishop of the Diocese of Houma-Thibadaux in 2003 where he served until 2013. Bishop Jacobs has a long list of accomplishments as bishop, including his key role in bringing Steubenville conferences, Man of God conferences and Woman of God conferences to the region. He currently serves as the International Chaplain for Legatus, and is a past Chair of the National Service Committee for the Charismatic Renewal.
Paul and his wife, Gretchen have been full-time missionaries serving the Church for the past 16 years. He has served as parish youth minister, diocesan director, president of a non-profit, campus minister, author, and full-time evangelist. Paul holds a master’s degree in theological studies from the University of Dallas. He Co-founded and directs Adore Ministries, a non-profit Catholic organization whose mission is to call all people to worship God with their entire lives.
Paul and Gretchen currently reside in Lafayette, Louisiana, with their four children, Marie, Jacob, Sarah and Clare. Paul is the Campus minister at the University of Louisiana- Lafayette, Our Lady of Wisdom Catholic Church, and Adjunct professor of Theology at the Aquinas Institute on campus.
Justin has a leadership background in both non-profit and corporate ventures. In collaboration with Dr. Bob Schuchts, he founded Fraternus, Inc. (www.fraternus.net), a mentoring program for young men. The program has grown nationally and Justin remains active on their Board of Directors. Bob’s influence has greatly impacted Justin’s life, not only in ministry, but also in his personal life and marriage.
Justin is married to Angela and they have five children. He owns J. Biance Financial (www.jbiance.com) and holds two Master’s degrees, one in Moral Theology and one in Business Entrepreneurship.
Illeana lives in Miami, Florida with her husband of 29 years, Raphael, and their daughters Giselle and Amy Jo. She graduated from the University of Miami with a B.A in School of Communication, and has since worked in radio and television.
Ileana has participated in the Bible Study Fellowship for the past ten years, and has been a leader on various retreats, including Emmaus retreats. She is an active apostle of The Servants of the Pierced Hearts of Jesus and Mary. Ileana has been an active student of the work of John Paul II, including coursework at TOB Institute.
