[CLOSED EVENT] The Deep Heart of God: Finding Redemption, Healing and Restoration – San Antonio, TX: October 4 – 5, 2019
This is a closed event for the deaconate program in the Archdiocese of San Antonio, TX.
Building on Dr. Bob’s book, Be Healed, and his own book, Lenten Healing, Ken will lead you on a journey deep into the Heart of God and His desire for us to live into the fullness of our true identity.
Weariness in the Christian life often results from improper attachment to God, and trauma or hurt that reduces our ability to live freely. Attendees will experience a heart-level journey into the goodness of God’s heart, while revealing the faulty beliefs, thoughts, and emotions that reduce our capacity to give and receive love.
The Deep Heart of God adds dimension and depth for those who have attended our other events, and a powerful introduction to those seeking healing and restoration. The retreat combines talks, multimedia, facilitated prayer experiences, and times for reflection to lead you deeper into the heart of God.
The conference explores three main themes:
- Finding God’s Heart: His Unrelenting Goodness
- The Enemy Within: Breaking the Bondage of Sin & Hurt
- Finding Freedom: Living in the Promises of God
“Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:32
Listen to a sample of Ken discussing the Deep Heart of God on Catholic radio:
