Livestreamed Event FAQs

Livestreamed Events are events that are available to attend in-person, but are also being livestreamed from the physical event location to be viewed anywhere in the world! The videos are viewable from a password-protected conference access page and each participant is given a unique login and password upon registration.

Do I need to attend another John Paul II Healing Center event before registering for this livestreamed conference?

No. This conference can be experienced on its own, whether you’ve attended one of our events before (either virtually or in-person) or if this is your first time with us!

Is there a way I attend this event partially in person and partially via livestream?

Yes! All in-person registrations come with a special complimentary coupon code to allow you to register for the livestream version of that event for free. The code will be included in your confirmation email for the in-person event. You must register for the in-person event first in order to receive this complimentary access coupon code.

Am I able to register multiple people?

Yes, you may register more than one person at a time for livestream events. Simply fill out the registration form and, when you have finished one person’s registration, simply click the button that says “Add Another Registration” to register the next person.

When will I receive my login instructions?

  • Upon registering, you will immediately receive a confirmation email which includes a link to access the virtual event. The livestream access page will remain locked until the Monday of the event week. On that Monday, the livestream access page will become available to view. (Please refer to your event’s page on our website where the exact date will be listed under the “Additional Details” section.)
  • You will receive a reminder email on that same Monday with the link to log in to the livestream with your unique access code!

What time zone are the streamed sessions shown?

The sessions are shown in the time zones of physical location of the event. Please check the event page to determine the location of the event and the time zone.

Do I have to follow the schedule?

No, you don’t have to follow the schedule. While participants are provided a recommended schedule in the Downloads tab in the livestream access page, conferences can be also experienced like a self-paced online retreat—all livestreamed sessions are being recorded and are available until the Monday, 9 days following the event, at 5PM Eastern Time for participants to engage in a way that best fits their schedule. Access to the private conference access page also expires Monday, 9 days following the event, at 5PM Eastern Time. Please refer to the event page for your particular event for an exact expiration date.

However, if you are watching the videos after they have finished streaming and have converted to recordings, we strongly recommend you progress through the videos in chronological order. Each teaching builds on the last, so in order to get the most out of the event we ask that you progress through each video in order rather than skip ahead.

If I want to participate in this conference with my spouse or with a group, can they share my access code to view the livestream?

No. Your registration for this conference is a Single User License per our Terms of Use Guidelines, so each person must register individually to participate in this conference and access the additional content. Addtionally, the access code you received is unique and cannot be used concurrently on another device to access the livestream.

(This does NOT apply to spouses or couples who have registered as a couple for the livestream of Unveiled: Discover the Great Mystery in Your Marriage. However, the access code will not allow separate logins on different devices concurrently.)

I'm having issues with the video playback.

I’m having trouble with the video buffering.

The event will be streaming in the highest possible quality. If you experience buffering (pauses in your stream) or issues with viewing the video stream, you may have a better viewing experience by reducing the quality to SD manually.

I’m having issues seeing/hearing the video.

The quality of your playback experience is largely dependent on how your internet service provider connects to the streamers playback servers. Please keep in mind that your internet speed can vary depending on many factors, including but not limited to: time of day, WiFi performance, other devices/ users utilizing your connection, and the strength of the signal provided by your ISP.

  • First, check that your internet connection is active. If it’s not, please restart your router.

  • You can also test out your Internet Speed: https://www.speedtest.net/

  • Here’s a nifty guide that shows what internet speed (or bandwidth) you need to view the quality of stream:

Virtual Conference FAQs

Virtual Conferences consist of a series of pre-recorded talks available to view for a specified amount of time. The videos are viewable from a password-protected conference access page and each participant is given a unique login and password upon registration.

Do I need to attend another John Paul II Healing Center event before registering for this virtual conference?

No. This conference can be experienced on its own, whether you’ve attended one of our events before (either virtually or in-person) or if this is your first time with us!

Am I able to register multiple people?

It is possible to register on behalf of others, but unfortunately not all in one transaction. If you desire to purchase a livestream or virtual conference ticket on behalf of someone else, you must proceed through the checkout process for each participant individually, one at a time, each with a unique email address.

When will I receive my login instructions?

Immediately! When your registration is complete (paid for) you will receive an email with your auto-generated password and instructions to access the virtual conference page. (Please check your junk, spam, or promotional folders if you do not see the email in your inbox.) If you are registering before the event start date, hold on to this email for future reference! You will need to refer to it to log in when it is time for the conference to begin.

IMPORTANT: Please double check that your email address is typed in correctly before completing your registration, since it is the key to accessing the private conference page!

What time zone are the livestreamed sessions shown? (Applies to virtual events with live sessions, like Live Q&As)

Live sessions for virtual events (e.g. Q&As via Zoom, livestreamed Masses, or livestreamed Adoration & Worship sessions) on the event schedule will be listed in Eastern Standard Time.

How can I be sure that my device will be compatible to watch the recorded talks and participate in the live sessions (if applicable)?

You need to be logged into your private conference page with a minimum required bandwidth (download speed) of 7 mbps. In addition, we recommend using the following browsers and versions on Windows 7/later or macOS Sierra (10.12.6)/later:

Chrome 30+ (has automatic updates)
Firefox 27+ (has automatic updates)
Microsoft Edge
Safari 9+

We highly recommend using a desktop or laptop computer or a tablet for the best experience of the videos, although smaller mobile devices and phones also work for viewing the recordings. (Please note that this conference page, while “responsive” to whatever screen size you have, is optimally viewed on a larger screen.)
