The JPII Healing Center was founded over 10 years ago by Dr. Bob Schuchts, a marriage and family therapist, author and speaker. The JPII Healing Center seeks to provide teaching, healing and equipping for clergy and laity through events and resources in order to bring about transformation in the heart of the Catholic Church.

Job Overview

The John Paul II Healing Center is seeking a Digital Technology Coordinator to oversee the management of digital technologies. This includes website functionality and security, event support and maintenance of resource materials. The role also involves creating, coordinating, and distributing new digital tools and solutions to facilitate ongoing operations. The Digital Technology Coordinator will provide technical training and support to staff as needed. As our organization expands and outreach grows, we hope to find an expert who can help us identify and integrate the most efficient digital solutions for those we serve.

Educational Background

Completion of an undergraduate program in Computer Science or related field.

5+ years

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Adobe Cloud (at least InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop & Premiere Pro)

Responsibilities

  • Manages and enhances the website and any other digital mediums as needed.
  • Upkeeps e-commerce solutions and point-of-sale systems like WordPress, WooCommerce, Square, and others.
  • Management of digital products with editing capabilities including MP3s, Videos, Workbooks and YouTube content.
  • Troubleshoots and performs root cause analysis on all digital platforms’ chronic issues and major incidents.
  • Provides hardware and software technical support for staff including set-up for new employees.
  • Develops effective and efficient SEO strategies.
  • Oversees Microsoft 365 account.
  • Oversees virtual learning platform, Learnworlds.

Qualifications

  • Practicing Catholic with a mature faith life focused on prayer, personal growth, and a deepening relationship
    with the three persons of the Holy Trinity.
  • Basic understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
  • Experience with data visualization and infographics.
  • Knowledge of responsive design development.
  • Basic understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively within a team-focused environment.
  • Ability to work independently/from home with a flexible approach to daily work and assigned tasks.
  • Desire to learn and grow professional and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow directives and receive constructive input.
  • Desire to contribute to the overall growth of the ministry.
  • Highly organized, with strong attention to detail.

  • No refunds/credits will be provided after any event has begun (i.e. no refunds/credits during/after the event).

  • Registrations are not transferable between persons or events.
  • This event is for attendees 18 years old and older.
  • By attending this event, you consent to any photographs and/or video footage that may be taken for promotional, commercial, or distributional purposes.
