A Conference for Psychotherapists - Integrating Faith with Therapy

The Healing and Wholeness Therapist Conference is an event for professional psychotherapists and graduate students who desire to integrate faith and psychotherapeutic practice. It is a hybrid conference and retreat where each day attendees receive over six hours of teaching and training/practice as well as opportunities for prayer, rest, fellowship, and fun. With over 50 years of combined professional experience, the team will help you better integrate the Catholic faith and psychotherapy in ways that are practical and helpful to you and your clients. This is a great opportunity for ongoing professional development and personal transformation and growth.

Led by Dr. Bob Schuchts, Jake Khym & Christopher LaFitte, this conference, held once a year in Tallahassee, FL, will help as you grow not only in your capacity to integrate your faith into your psychotherapy practice, but also in your own personal journey towards a deeper understanding of the Father’s love for you in your life and mission.

Who is the Therapist Conference For?

  • For therapists and helping professionals with an active client list who are seeking to integrate the teachings of the JPII Healing Center in their practice. Graduate students are welcome to attend.

  • Full refunds up to 30 days prior to the event (less a processing fee of approximately 3%).
  • No refunds are provided within 30 days of the event.
  • For parish-hosted weekend events, virtual and livestream events, cancellations less than 30 days are eligible for a credit which can be applied to a future JPII Healing Center event.
  • For weeklong events, cancellations less than 14 days are not eligible for a refund (this is due to the non-refundable deposits made to venues, vendors, etc).
  • No refunds/credits will be provided after any event has begun (i.e. no refunds/credits during/after the event).

  • Registrations are not transferable between persons or events.
  • This event is for attendees 18 years old and older.
  • By attending this event, you consent to any photographs and/or video footage that may be taken for promotional, commercial, or distributional purposes.
