Founder/Speaker

Dr. Bob Schuchts

Dr. Bob Schuchts, Ph.D. is the founder of the John Paul II Healing Center and the author of the best-selling book, Be Healed: Encountering the Powerful Love of Jesus in Your Life, and other numerous titles. He has also contributed to a variety of other publications and has published resources available through the Center.

Bob spent more than 30 years as a therapist, while also teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in marriage and family relationships, human development, applied psychology, and marriage and family therapy. He held adjunct professor positions at Florida State University; Tallahassee Community College and the Center for Biblical Studies in Tallahassee, Florida. He has also taught courses at the Theology of the Body Institute and the Augustine Institute.

Speakers

Bart Schuchts, founder of Church on Fire, has more than 28 years of ministry experience and has been associated with JPII HC since its inception. Raised in a Catholic home, he drifted away from the Church during high school and college. His journey took him across much of the Body of Christ, fueling his passion for the intimate and powerful presence of God.

Sr. Miriam James Heidland joined the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) in 1998 and holds a master’s degree in theology from the Augustine Institute. She is the author of three books: Loved As I Am, Behold, and Restore and is a co-host of the Abiding Together Podcast. Sr. Miriam has been associated with the Center since its earliest days and is a regular presenter at its conferences.

Fr. John Burns is a priest of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee. In 2019, he completed a doctorate in moral theology at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross in Rome. Fr. Burns speaks at conferences, preaches missions, directs retreats throughout the country & is the author of several books. Fr. Burns is currently assigned full-time to the renewal of women’s religious life.

Carrie Daunt is a presenter for the John Paul II Healing Center’s Undone and Unveiled retreats and is the author of Undone: Freeing your Feminine Heart from the Knots of Fear and Shame and co-author of Man Your Post: Learning to Lead like St. Joseph with her husband, Duane.

Nicole is a collaborator and speaker for Undone the Womens Conference. She is a certified spiritual director, and has 20 years of experience. She and her husband of 23 years, are parents to three biological sons, who are now powerful intercessors in heaven.

Jake has an MA in Counseling Psychology and a BA in Theology. Jake has worked in various pastoral ministries for over 22 years and has also run a counseling practice for over 11 years. Currently, he also has two podcasts, Way of the Heart & Restore the Glory. He lives in Abbotsford, BC with his wife Heather and their three children.

Christopher has been associated with the JPII Healing Center since its early days. He has over 15 years of ministry experience and has been a Counselor for more than 8 years. He has an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an MA in Theology. Christopher lives in College Station, TX with his wife Stephanie and their four children.

Christopher Lafitte

Paul has spent the past 27+ years helping people know, understand, and live in the true and authentic freedom they were created to live in. He has served as the president of a non-profit, a speaker, mentor, consultant, coach, and author as well as the founder and director of Art of Living Inc.. Paul received an undergraduate degree in Education and a master’s degree in Theological studies from the University of Dallas.

John Edwards is a Catholic speaker and evangelist and has been featured on Catholic media such as Pints with Aquinas, The Catholic Talk Show, The Chris Stefanick Show, and EWTN’s Life on the Rock. He is the founder and executive director of Pew Ministries, a Catholic apostolate and host of the popular podcast Just A Guy in the Pew.

Colleen has been leading worship at John Paul II Healing Center events for 8 years. When Colleen isn’t singing, she is kept very busy caring for her four children: Benny, Max, Camille and Norah. She is ever-so-grateful for her supportive husband of 8 years, Titus, who helps her share her gift of music with the world.

Danielle Noonan is a worship leader and songwriter from Houston, Texas. When she isn’t using her gifts within ministry or writing songs for the Church, she’s helping run her family farm, Soggy Boots Farm, with her husband, Chris, and three boys, Lucas, James, and Henry.

REFUND POLICY

  • Full refunds up to 30 days prior to the event (less a processing fee of approximately 3%).
  • No refunds are provided within 30 days of the event.
  • For parish-hosted weekend events, virtual and livestream events, cancellations less than 30 days are eligible for a credit which can be applied to a future JPII Healing Center event.
  • For weeklong events, cancellations less than 14 days are not eligible for a refund (this is due to the non-refundable deposits made to venues, vendors, etc).
  • No refunds/credits will be provided after any event has begun (i.e. no refunds/credits during/after the event).

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Registrations are not transferable between persons or events.
  • This event is for attendees 18 years old and older.
  • By attending this event, you consent to any photographs and/or video footage that may be taken for promotional, commercial, or distributional purposes.
  • By registering for this event, you are agreeing to the terms of the informed consent policy which can be found here.
