Event Registration Questions
Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?”
Yes, we utilize an electronic transaction gateway that uses secure encrypted communication to protect your credit card information. Our site also has a dedicated SSL encryption for additional protection. We do not store your credit information.
What is your cancellation policy?
Due to the fact that most of our events fill to capacity, registration fees are non-refundable, and unfortunately, cannot be transferred to another person, event, virtual platform or product. Thank you for your understanding, as we aim to accommodate thousands of participants throughout the year.
For 5-day events in Tallahassee, cancellations made 30 days or more prior to an event will receive a refund of payment (less a processing fee). If cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to an event, no refund will be given. If you have any questions regarding the cancellation policy, please email us at support@jpiihealingcenter.org.
What is your registration fee?
The fees may vary from event to event. You will be informed of the cost when registration for that event opens.
How do I register for an event?
For best results, please use Chrome or Firefox as your browser (not Internet Explorer).
Do I need to become a registered user with your site?
We request that you become a registered user so that you can have a record of past registrations and purchases. It is not necessary, but highly recommended. Your information will not be shared with anyone. If you have any questions or need help with registering please contact us at support@jpiihealingcenter.org.
Healing the Whole Person and Restoring the Glory – Five-day Retreats
Are meals provided at the conference?
At the conference, we will provide a light breakfast each day, lunch (Monday-Thursday), snacks and two dinners (Tuesday and Thursday evenings). All other meals are the responsibility of the participant. (There are grocery stores and restaurants very close by.)
What do I need to bring to the conference?
We will provide workbooks with some space for journaling. Feel free to bring your own journal, as well as your Bible, if you’d like. You may need a light jacket or sweater for the conference room, if you tend to get cold easily.
Good Shepherd is a “green” facility. They desire to reduce the amount of waste and ask that we do the same and minimize our use of cups. If you have a re-useable water bottle and /or insulated coffee cup that you can bring, it would help this cause. However, we will provide cups (and there will be plenty of them) if needed.
Please check the weather before you come. In Tallahassee you never know what each day holds!
Is there a wireless connection available at the conference?
There is not a wireless connection available. However, there is cell phone reception.
Do you have to be Catholic to attend this conference?
You do not have to be Catholic to attend this conference. We have many non-Catholic participants, and love to welcome all to attend. We just ask that you remain open to our Catholic faith and practices.
How many people attend this conference?
There will be about 50 participants and 40 team members in attendance.
What does each day of the conference look like?
A typical day at the conference begins at 8am, ends at about 6pm, and includes daily Mass. It is filled with lectures, journaling, adoration and plenty of free time for reflection or relaxation. You will have an opportunity for confession as well as an individual session with a small prayer team.
When does the conference begin and end so I can plan my travel?
The conference begins on Monday at about 11:30am and ends on Friday at about 1:30pm. We recommend arrival before the conference to be on Sunday afternoon and departure after the conference on Friday afternoon after 3:30 (if flying).
Will transportation be provided?
Transportation is the responsibility of the participant and will not be provided by the JPII Healing Center. However, in an effort to assist participants in need of transportation, we will collect and publish a list of those attendees who are available to support those in need of transportation. During the event registration please answer the additional questions concerning transportation as needed. If you would like the possibility of help with transportation, to and from the airport, then we recommend arriving before 8pm on Sunday and departing on Friday afternoon/evening for the greatest likelihood of help.
Will the conference be held at a retreat center?
The conference will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church:

Accommodations will not be at the same location. It will be the responsibility of the participant to set up their own accommodations. Most participants stay at one of these two places, but feel free to stay where ever you like.
