GENERAL VIRTUAL EVENT QUESTIONS
No. There are no prerequisites for virtual events.
Yes, you may register more than one person at a time for virtual events. Fill out the registration form and, when you have finished one person’s registration, simply click the button that says “Add Another Registration” to register the next person. All charges will be on the same credit card.
Instructions and login credentials to access the retreat portal will be sent via email on the week prior to the event. Please make sure to check your “Junk”, “Spam” “Promotions” and “Trash” folders if you are unable to locate the email with your login credentials the week before the event.
IMPORTANT: Please double-check that your email address is typed in correctly before completing your registration since it is the key to accessing the private retreat page
Be sure you entered your email address correctly as your confirmation email could go to junk, spam, trash, or promotional folders. If you do not see the email in your inbox and you checked these folders, contact us at info@jpiihealingcenter.org
On the retreat access page, which becomes available the week before the event, you will find a “Workbook” page in the navigation menu on the left side of the page. On this page, you will be prompted to electronically sign a “Workbook Agreement”, after which the workbook can be downloaded to your device. We recommend printing a hardcopy for use throughout the retreat.
You will need three things to attend a virtual conference.
Live sessions will be shown in Eastern Time.
Yes, a recording of each livestreamed session will be accessible in the retreat portal within 24 hours after the conclusion of the session. You will be able to view these until the expiration of your retreat access (see Question #11 below).
We are unable to assist in troubleshooting compatibility, but we can provide the following information: You need to be logged into your private retreat page with a minimum required bandwidth (download speed) of 7 mbps. In addition, we recommend using the most up-to-date operating system (e.g. Windows or Mac OS) and browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, etc.) for your device.
We highly recommend using a desktop computer, laptop computer, or tablet for the best experience of the videos, although smaller mobile devices and phones also work for viewing the recordings. (Please note that this retreat page, while “responsive” to whatever screen size you have, is optimally viewed on a larger screen.)
Casting the livestream from your device is considered one stream and is therefore supported functionality. JPII Healing Center is not able to provide technical support for this option.
No, you don’t have to follow the schedule. While participants are provided a recommended schedule, conferences can be also experienced like a self-paced online retreat—so you can engage in the videos in a way that best fits your schedule. Please keep in mind that access to the private retreat access page expires Monday, 9 days following the event, at 11:59 PM ET.
We do strongly recommend you progress through the videos in chronological order. Each teaching builds on the last, so in order to get the most out of the event we ask that you progress through each video in order rather than skip ahead.
We are not able to extend the access time to the virtual conference for ANY reason.
No. Your registration for this conference is a Single User License per our Terms of Use Guidelines, so each person must register individually to participate in this conference. Additionally, the login information you received is unique and cannot be used concurrently on more than one device. We thank you for honoring this policy.
